I have been painting since I can remember (a long time gulp) it has helped me through some good and bad times, and given me purpose in life. 

I now have a daughter and craft/painting time is fun and messy, although I don't let her near my paint :-)

I have always used painting to express my feelings, when words couldn't and usually paint in abstract because I like how I don't necessarily know how it's going to come out, I suppose there is an element of risk to it. 

My inspiration is the sea, I love the movement in water and how the sea can make you feel both free and scared at the same time. 

The sea cannot be controlled and I love how it can be untamed. 

More recently I have been getting into sculpture using papier mache, I love how the texture is rough but can be made into something beautiful.
